Security cameras — remote monitoring and Hunt intel

The camera system runs through the in-store monitor. You can switch between multiple angles covering the forecourt, entrance, main register area, and back storage. Use it during regular hours to spot incoming customers, or during a Hunt to watch blind corners you cannot safely patrol.

It arrived alongside the Patience Metre and the purchasable Chainsaw in the September 1 patch.

Walk to the monitor near the back storage area and press E to interact. Each press cycles to the next camera angle. Feeds are available during regular store hours and Hunt phases.

• Forecourt wide shot — fuel pumps and parking area. Essential on Rake nights (July 29) and when doppelganger customers approach by car.
• Entrance feed — watch who walks in and plan your reception strategy before they reach the counter.
• Register view — overhead angle catching customer behaviour at the counter that may not be visible from your POS position.
• Storage feed — covers the back room area. Confirm nobody is approaching from behind during a Hunt.

Safe patrol is not possible during a Hunt. The camera feeds let you monitor blind spots remotely. Use proximity voice to report what you see to teammates — "forecourt clear, east pump has movement."

The Patience Metre affects customer behaviour during regular hours — impatient customers may leave before you can process them. Cameras help you spot customer agitation before it becomes visible at the counter. Use cameras for broad awareness and the Patience Metre for timing decisions.

During high-pressure periods assign one teammate to monitor duty while the other handles customers and forecourt. Rotate monitor responsibility each shift to avoid fatigue. Call out feed observations clearly.
