Forecourt, gas pumps, vehicles, and last bus
The forecourt is the night shift second front — some vehicles are not carrying people. After the August 21 patch, Endless Rakes also enter through the forecourt from the tree line.
Why the forecourt cannot be ignored
From Night 4 onward, doppelgangers increasingly park at pumps without entering. The July 29 patch also added Rakes from the forest edge. No one watching the forecourt means monsters get a free pass.
Refueling routine
- Watch the lane, approach the car.
- Ask about receipt.
- Check fuel cap — name must match.
- Fill up, return nozzle.
- Human customers leave; doppelgangers sometimes step out and demand a transfer.
Inspecting vehicle interiors
Sweep the dashboard, passenger seat, and back seat with a flashlight. Cross-reference ID, N.E.T. printout, and receipt.
Driver tells
"I just came from…" contradicts the notice board. Refusing the flashlight scan, engine revving aggressively, and dead-silent engine运转 are all execute signals. The same pre-checkout execution rules apply.
Last bus
Empty driver seat → board. Occupied seat → wait. Two-player confirm a fake bus, which can spawn the Fast Red Creature that disables guns. Place a bear trap in the bus shelter first.
Rake nights
Rakes emerge from the west tree line; shoot them before they cross into playable area. The same patch removed Endless patience timers. Assign one teammate to watch the forecourt on Rake nights.
Forecourt lights out
The main breaker is on the wall opposite the walk-in freezer. Check it periodically. Permanent darkness is not automatically dangerous.
Fuel revenue and quota
Fuel sales go to the store account, not personal funds. Do not mix them. The August 21 price equalization makes $250 surgery math more predictable.
